ABOUT LOYAL BLADES

What does it mean to own a Loyal Blades knife?

Why TUSK?

In the 1980's survival knives had as many gadgets as they could fit, a hollow handle full of things like a mirror, compass, slingshot, thread and needle, etc. That trend ended and nowadays survival knives are the opposite, barely a blade and a handle, puting all the value on endurance only.

Typical survival knife of the 1980's

A kitchen knife? No, it's an average modern survival knife

We think that, between those ends, there is a place where survival knives should be. We think a knife that is only a handle and a blade can't be called a survival knife (or else all knives would be survival knives).

In our opinion, to be called survival knife, a knife has to be as versatile as possible and each of its components must have as many uses as possible, so it provides the user with as many survival options as possible.

And that is why we created the brand Loyal Blades and its first model, TUSK, was designed. To fill the need for a high quality modern survival knife.

Not following the current market trend is risky but we belive that our product fulfills a need, and anyway... fortune favors the brave!

My grandfather survived fighting with U.S. Army Air Force in WWII as a gunner on a B17 Flying Fortress, a plane made to last and resist all kind of challenges. And that's the spirit I want to infuse in all our products. High quality tools, made to last for as long as possible. That is reflected in all aspects of our products, from design to manufacture and product warranty.
